Lewis James ("L.J.") Etherington was born on August 27, 1945 and passed away in July 2008. Lewis was a resident of Syracuse, Utah at the time of his passing.
Lewis graduated from Davis High School and attended Weber State College for 3 years.
He served in the frontlines of the U.S. Marine Corp during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife Colleen.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at 11 a.m. at the Lindquist's Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Rd., with Bishop L. Scott Nussbaum officiating. Friends may call Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the service. Interment, Lindquist's Memorial Park in Layton, 1867 N. Fairfield Rd, where military honors will be accorded.
