Ronnie S. Hart Layton - Ronnie S Hart was released from the pain of his physical body on December 19, 2009 at his Layton home. He was born March 22, 1945 in Salt Lake City to Shirley W and Betty R Hart. He graduated from Davis High School and Stevens Henager College. Ron married Sherryl Ball in Kaysville on April 1, 1966. He worked for Utah Power & Light 17 years, starting as a meter reader working up to the Gov’t and Municipal public service rep. Early in their marriage he was a volunteer policeman for Layton City, which he loved. After leaving UP&L, he successfully started a bowling ball manufacturing firm, Faball Ent. and Paramount Sporting Goods, a wheeled bowling bag and golf products company. He endured many challenges to his health for his whole life without complaint. He was a great athlete, a competitive bowler and excellent golfer. Ron was an avid drag racer, then owned and raced his own SCCA opened wheeled race car. Ronnie is survived by his wife, Sherryl, daughter Brandi Hart and son Tyler (Kari) Hart. He has three grandsons, Slater, Kade & Colton Hart. His parents, Shirley and Betty Hart, three brothers, Shirl Jay (Eldora) Hart of Roseville CA, Jeffrey (Robin) Hart of Mission Viejo, CA and Martin (Glory) Hart of Clearfield. Ronnie’s father-in-law, Shirley L. Ball and two very special nieces Dana (Ward) Howes of Roseville, CA and Erin (Burt) McDonald of Syracuse and their great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday, Dec 28, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1897 N Fairfield Rd. Friends and family may call Sunday, Dec 27, 2009 from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday, Dec 28, 2009 from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist's Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
