I used to hang out with Tommy Jarmon on occassion, particularly during the summer months. And one Christmas he took me with him to Catholic Mass at midnight. He gave me a Catholic Missal so that I could follow along in English. I still have this book. When one of my daughters was about 8 I overhead a conversation she had with an elderly lady. She asked my daughter, "What Church do you belong to?" My daughter happily replied "We are Catholic Mormons" I asked her about that later and she pointed to that prized treasure that I had kept for all those years sitting on a book shelf right next to my Book of Mormon.
Many years later I moved to West Jordan and across the street from me lived a man with the last name of Jarmon. As I visited with him, he confessed that he recognized me from being in his home. He was tommy's little brother. He said that Tommy had been killed in a hunting accident. He also said that he had joined the Mormon Church. I have valued that little bit of information and still have his Catholic Missal.
