Ann LaRae Peterson Craig 1944 - 2017 Obituary Condolences 1944 ~ 2017Ann LaRae Peterson Craig peacefully stepped into heaven in the early hours of May 31, 2017.Ann was born on Christmas Day in 1944 to LaVar Golden and Joye Stout Peterson. She grew up in Kaysville, Utah and attended Davis High School where she was a D'ette.She met her forever sweetheart, Ronald A. Craig, while attending Weber State University in Ogden, Utah. He fell in love with her from the moment he saw her. They married on August 6, 1965, in the Salt Lake Temple. She is the wonderful mother of five daughters, whom she loved with all of her heart. She also had the privilege of raising two grandsons.Ann served faithfully in any position she was asked to do in her church including president of both the Young Women's and Relief Society organizations. She made many lifelong friends through her faithful service as a visiting teacher. She was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers - Pony Express Camp, which she served on with her mother and later her oldest daughter.Ann was a proud supporter of anything her five daughters and 15 grandchildren did. Not a day went by that her family did not feel of her devout love for them. Even in death, she displayed selflessness as she waited patiently for her husband and five daughters to be ready before peacefully passing. Ann was preceded in death by her father and mother as well as her sister, Cheryl. She leaves behind her devoted husband of 52 years, Ron, and her five daughters Tami (Dave) Williams of Fruit Heights, Tresa (Brandon) Scott of Clinton, Aleesa (Alan) Thomson of Layton, Alison (Eric) Anderson of Kaysville, and Mindy Craig of Kaysville. She also leaves 15 grandchildren, who love her dearly and will miss their cookie frosting parties that grandma always held at her house, two great granddaughters, a brother Gene (Trudy) Peterson of Kaysville, and a sister Judy (Val) Thompson of Elwood. She will be missed by many friends, nieces, nephews, and in-laws as well as her best friend and faithful pitbull, Booda.We love you Mom! You lived a beautiful life and your legacy of love will live on in each of us.Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 5, 2017 at the LDS Chapel, 875 East 200 North, Kaysville. There will be a viewing for family and friends from 6-8 p.m., SATURDAY, June 3, at Russon Mortuary, 1941 N. Main St., Farmington and on Monday, June 5 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment- Kaysville City Cemetery.
