PETER MICHAEL TALBOT -   "Hey, I'm Outta Here."

KAYSVILLE  -  Peter Michael Talbot, 59, passed away Sunday, September 19, 2004 at his home.  He was born July 17, 1945 in Salt Lake City the son of George and Mary Talbot.  Peter grew up in Kaysville.  He lived in Dallas, TX; for one year, Stone Mountain, Georgia for 10 years, Hoffman Estates, Illinois for two years and resided in Kaysville at the time of his death.  He completed his Bachelors degree in Education at Weber State University and was a sixth grade school teacher for 26 years in the Davis School District.  He received the Golden Apple Teacher's Award.  Peter married Barbara Joyce Stanton on November 22, 1966 in the Manti Temple.  They were later divorced.  He was a member of the LDS Church serving a Dallas, Texas Mission in 1964 to 1966.  He was the Assistant to the President.  He also taught the Elders Quorum in Atlanta in the 80's.  Peter loved camping, reading, the outdoors and was great with kids and loved being a grandfather.  Surviving are his son, Tristen Michael Talbot, Ogden, daughter, Heather Caress (Talbot) Winkler, Layton; three grandchildren, Katerina, Kellyn, Aleksandra, his parents, George and Mary Talbot, Kaysville, two brothers, Steven Talbot, Lincoln Talbot and nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 23, 2004 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist's Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.  Friends and family may call Thursday from 23:30 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary.  Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
