Ann was at Davis High School our senior year as part of the Foreign Exchange Program. Her home land was Terneuzen, Holland, which she loved. She came from a large family of five brothers and one sister. Ann had a fun loving personality and was very adventurous. She enjoyed making friends and had a positive experience at Davis. Ann graduated from college and taught school for a while. She married an American, Ben Bright, and they had one daughter, Karen Ann. They lived in New Jersey for many years. Ann passed away in 2007 with cancer.
Anne was a dear, sweet friend while we were at DHS together and we kept in touch until she passed away in 2007. Phil and I visited her and Ben twice in New Jersey -- once in 1967 before we left for Phil's first tour in Germany and again in 1998 when we traveled back east to enter our youngest daughter in the United States Military Academy at West Point. I will never forget Anne's beautiful smile and her happy spirit. Oh, how she loved to laugh and how very much she is missed!
